More Axe Swinging at a Corus station near you

Today I heard from a friend in Winnipeg that Corus has done some cutting at it's underperforming stations in Winnipeg.

Word has it, this is just the start. Before too long, Corus will be leaner than Vista.

Also, a couple of long termers in the Corus Vancouver Traffic Department were wished well in their future endeavours. By the sounds of it, commerial logs for the Vancouver cluster will now be done at Corus Calgary. If there's still a traffic department up at CHED in Edmonton, keep your resume up to date.

What's next, a centralized accounting department? Maybe a bank of three or four writers doing all the copy work for Western Canada. Same goes for production.

Getting a job with the city and being able to live a stress free life out in the fresh air every day was the best move I ever made.
