CISF 107.7 Surrey on the air testing

Postby radiofan » Fri Dec 18, 2015 7:51 pm

Thanks to Brian Walks for passing along info that Surrey's new CISF 107.7 is now on the air in testing mode.

Non stop instrumental and vocal Christmas music with splitters and CRTC test announcements.

"Happy Holidays from your friends at 107.7 PULSE FM"

Brian was picking up the signal loud and clear in South Surrey/White Rock, it's loud and clear here in New Westminster/Burnaby and Dan Sys is picking it up in Aldergrove.

The transmitter appears to be on the old Shaw Cable tower on 104th Avenue and 138 Street (just east of King George Blvd).

I guess this is the end of The end in Greater Vancouver.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Good signal here in the Tri-Cities area. Tested it all the way out to Mission on the Dewdney Trunk. Signal was spotty along the Mary Hill Bypass but after that it was strong all the way to the Stave Dam (as far as I had to go).

The Christmas music lineup on this station is really good, quite unlike what you'll hear elsewhere.
