You'd think he would have had a contract with Rogers.

"You will be seeing me soon"...

A TV gig or a PR role?

Maybe Rogers was relieved to let him put of it.

I read a Facebook post by Art Factora mention that Todd Bertuzzi will be filling Darling's shoes at Sporrtsnet 650 this week.

That's two stikes for Darling in less than a year. What's next, maybe a sales job at Maple Ridge Chrysler?

The 650 Sportsnet morning show was pretty well a basket case. All three hosts didnt sound like they belonged in sports radio. Add that to the fact that the ratings for sports radio in Vancouver doesnt really appear to make it a very good career choice and you will have people coming and going.

My guess is that he’s part of a CITY TV reboot. His hire was more a Toronto decision than a local one. If he was going to another industry, he would have announced it. But the fact he’s not saying tells me it’s still in the biz. The same could be said for Michael Kuss...great guy, great weatherman, but really odd casting decision.

Wonder if a re-imagined morning show is just the beginning. First year in the books, you see a roster shuffle before the puck drops on the Canucks pre-season in September.
