I'm out of town, so unfortunately missed Jim fraser's first morning show. If anyone recorded the show, as well as any other dayparts, please send to Radiofan to post!

Interesting to hear Bob Morris reading the 8 am news on CKAY

this is an old tradition of CHWX and CKNW where the owner or a senior manager
reads the news at 8am and becomes the community connection.

Hal Davis did it for over thirty years and to many it was his signature.

Hopefully Bob will be able to do for many years.

I sense he is trying to create something that has been dead in BC radio...all the best of luck.

Does this mean Ian Koenigsfest will soon be doing the 8 a.m. NW news? Have a good day now, d'ya hear? ;)

I hope that CKAY is able to make a financial go of it so it can remain a live, local station. You're right, Top Dog, there doesn't appear to be a lot of that in small towns in B.C. anymore. :(

Would Ian actually do the news, or would he hop into a phone booth, change clotes and re-appear on air as "Joe Six Pack"?
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
