airchexx.com featuring Calgary radio from November '85

Airchexx.com is featuring some airchecks of Calgary radio from November 1985 including the Gary James CKXL aircheck presented some time ago on this site from Radiofan's archives.

The website indicates the airchecks are from February '85 but I don't think that's correct.

The lineup is Gary James at 'XL with Laura Knop, Bill Powers and Ron Wood along with Gary's cast of characters namely Ardith and Eechie.

Glen Slingerland at AM-106 with Dale O'Hara, Marianne Gerami and Jon Lindenberg.

Rob Bye at C-JAY 92 with Wayne Nelson, Racy Dave Tracy (aka Trace Ventura) and I think Marilyn Dennis.

And an aircheck of Wes Erickson at 107 KIK FM.

AB4L: I've also noticed Radiofan's airchecks showing up, often slightly editted, on Airchecker's PSR forum. Yet, the Airchecker feature was originally introduced with: "Will you listen to these exclusive radio air-checks?"

To quote Willy Shake-the-spear: "slight edits do not an exclusive aircheck make".
