KRPI From the Residents' Point of View

Welcome to our friends from the Seattle area who lost their radio message board in early December ...

I did some googling and found an FCC reference to "protected field offices". The one in Ferndale is at N48°57′20.4″ W122°33′17.6″ and a search on Google Maps shows a small antenna farm and shack.

The imagery is copyright 2013 but I don't know if that's relevant to the age of the image.

Thanks for that Toomas. I'd always believe the FCC site was actually much closer to Ferndale.

It's almost due east of the KARI site, between Birch Bay and Lynden, and south of 240th Street in Langley.

Next time I'm down that way, I'll see what I can find.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
