one of my brightest moves, in on bringing Ched Miller to CFUN from Winnipeg. A heck of a nice guy to work with.

Cheers Ched.

I thought it was just my memory going when I first saw the picture of Billy Williams at the top of this thread. But, No, even vancouverbroadcasters.com doesn't have him listed.

He is alive and well and living in Wetaskiwin, playing Oldies every weekday morning on W-14-40. On KJ's site (Keith James Jr.), he credits Billy with keeping him "grounded" in his youthful days at CHED.

It has been several years now since Lucas (afternoons) left, so I suspect it is a tad lonely at CKJR these days, being the only voice coming out of the studios in Wetaskiwin.

Billy's bio on the W-1440 site mentions he worked in Vancouver between stints at CHED (even though whoever prepped the bio got the CFUN call letters wrong).

Oh, and another error on his bio .. Hot Smoke & Sassafrass was by BUBBLE PUPPY NOT BUBBLE PEPPER!
