David Reid (CHQR/CKNW) has passed away

Just read on a FB post that longtime CHQR Calgary on-air person, music director and traffic manager David Reid passed away on April 15th in Boca Raton, FL.
David was also Traffic manager at CKNW/CFMI in the early 1990's. He was 67.

I met David Reid, once, while going to broadcasting school at Columbia Academy in Calgary.
He was one of the radio instructors at Columbia, this goes back to the early 1980's.
He was a very nice man as I recalled and a very helpful instructor. David went on to a distinguished career at CHQR and later, CKNW.
