I've asked one of my CJAT co-workers, as I didn't hear the name there. But, a quick look at the Edmonton phone book tells me that it is a fairly common name, as there are two listings under Roy and several more under R. So, I'm sure there must be scores across Canada.

Dave Glover, who worked at CJAT for many decades, and continued to live in Trail after he retired(early 90's), would probably remember this person.

CBC should be able to contact him there... he is in the phone book.

Dave Glover's son, Dale, is also living in Trail... I don't know how old he would have been in 1962.

Another source would be Gord Brady from CKQR in Castlegar... this is where all the action was, when the government moved in and took the kids away... I lived in Castlegar and got to know alot of the history... much of it was put into a documentary that is on the Knowledge Network once in awhile.
