Big Ron O'Brien Passes

Big Ron passed away April 27th in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, Washington and B.C. folks would only likely have heard him on-air at KFI in 1979, as his lengthy resume does not include any other stations readily listenable even to a DX'er.

Those well South of Edmonton might get KFI at night, but everyone else in Alberta wouldn't have a chance with CHED on 630. CHED has a pretty tight Null to the South at night.
