Sorry I can't provide a link to this, but I've been peering at the Old Time Radio Reseachers site and found an edition of Double or Nothing from May 2, 1951. The show had contestants from Vancouver and to introduce them, host Walter O'Keefe brought on Jack Kyle. Jack apparently selected them for the show. He sounds his usual relaxed self and gets some laughs from the studio audience.
When Jack comes on, studio organist Erv Orton plays 'The Maple Leaf Forever.'
Jack's always been one of my favourites and it's great to hear him briefly in a different setting.
