here is a clip that I am not sure of the dating...

the 59th Annual B.C. Association of Broadcasters Convention held in Victoria. Emcee for the evening was CH TV's Ed Bain who had the audience in stitches, and to his surprise, was named Broadcaster of the Year. At one point in the program he produced a fireman's axe, lifted it above his head and yelled, "Someone from Corus radio has lost this item", which had the audience laughing. It was of course in reference to the recent firings at the Corus outlets. Morning host Kit Carson at The Beat 94.5FM was named Broadcast Performer of Tomorrow, while Broadcaster of the Year-Radio went to Jack FM's morning duo of Larry and Willy. Veteran newscaster Hudson Mack from A-Channel was named Broadcast Performer of the Year-Television

"For various reasons, they appear to have become adherents of a violent ideology inspired by al-Qaeda," said Luc Portelance, Assistant Director of Operations for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).

This was the largest counter-terrorism operation and the greatest number of arrests made in Canada since the Anti-terrorism Act came into effect in December 2001.

"These individuals were allegedly intent on committing acts of terrorism against their own country and their own people," Prime Minister Stephen Harper said. "As we have said on many occasions, Canada is not immune to the threat of terrorism."
