T.V. presenters (news/weather)

Since my return to Canada I have noticed on both the national and local T.V. the presenters seem to be quite breathy and glup a lot of air in mid sentence etc. or is it just me, being to picky? I do know if I had done that on air a few years back, I would be sitting in the office of authority telling me to sharpen my skills.

Well, Mr. e. I don't think you've ever been a "presenter" here or anywhere else.
"breathy and glup" I'm assuming you mean gulp?
"the office of authority?" What?
"sharpen my skills?" What?
Try again, and next time, don't waste our time.
