all this weekend - participation and interaction as we change the colours and the
pictures for the new message board masthead

This is a joke right? Trying to copy the lameass new PSR logo? say it isn't so.
It's a radio web site so I want to see some radio images. Maybe some charts, pics, 45s blended together. This thing looks like it belongs on a site for fisherman. No logo is better than this!

(As an ex employee of the 'Allen and Wright' chain of resturants - I do get
a series of coupons to give away each month - radio fan will be getting most of them
on the next coastal visit. We will announce the time for a feeding and a viewing)

My finely tuned asthetic sense had been assaulted after a visit to the other site. Looking for a safe haven I returned to radiowest only to be confronted with another bad logo, hence the knee jerk reaction. If we are going to be lampooning how about adding a beam of white light coming down from the heavens? Perhaps some disciples, I mean listeners in canoes?

Being a cart machine, I am old technology. That means I'm on dial-up. Fancy-schmancy pictures (like on other boards where they also screw with the resolution for some reason) take too long to load.

To me, things are fine as they are. But, if you're going to have anything, tuned is right. Have something to do with the radio business.

Slow down! I'm still trying to visualize, as Radiofan suggested, Top Dog as a top-less A&W Car Hop on ice skates in the winter when they flood the parking lot.

As this is a true radio old timers who hate the corporate world board, why not a giant Shirly Tempel hanging at the A&W Drive In about to pour her Rootbeer float over the top of a shrunken office tower symbolizing the past drowning out the present with all that was good and innocent while Dean Martin and the rat pack look on with smokes and martinis in hand. All set like little figuriines on top of a 200lb console am radio.

Being an expert on all things A & W......remember Vic Damone was tagged with the honour "Mr. A & W - 1955" Maybe we could have Spanish Eyes playing in the background of the new logo.
