Oh Poop!

Thanks Doggie. What am I going to do with these two shopping bags full of rhubarb I was going to drop off for you?

Doggie is a party pooper.

Give them to Radiofan - his cat wants to smell you on the rhubarb.

I see Sparky's point - we could meet at the Ferry slip one time
and the next time in Hopeless. Attendance would fall,,, right?

Due to popular demand the Puntuation-Mobile™ will be passing through the community of Oliver, B.C. sometime next week.

Please feel free to drop by and discuss all of your punctuation needs. We will have an amazing array of commas, periods, and semi-colons to choose from.

Whether you're a rank beginner just learning English or a rusty former radio beat reporter seeking to improve your skills, you'll find all of your punctuation needs at the Punctuation-Mobile™.

See you there!

P.S. Due to a recent outbreak at area libraries we regret that we cannot supply metaphors at this time. As always, similes are free.

We'll be back again in the spring, hopefully a few more new faces will appear along with some of the regulars who had other comittments. today.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

RadioWest Get-Together October 5, 2008

Postby Margaret Stewart » Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:51 am

Thank-you, RadioWest, for inviting me to the Get-Together on Sunday. I was so pleased to meet you all, and to find you so welcoming and altogether charming!

The photos turned out very well - what fun to see them this morning.

If anyone would like to send me the names of the women you mentioned to me at the party (and me without my notebook!) you can email me easily at RADIOLADIES@SHAW.CA. The list of credits and thank-you's grows longer all the time. It's very satisfying to know that people remember the women of early radio, and I'll make sure that they are in the book.

Cheers!
Margaret Stewart ("Peggy").
