Jon - I have received several email messages from the Board sytem saying that I have PM's to find there is none on - you have messages.

I cleared out all old messages and would say to board posters if you have PM ed me lately I may not have gotten your message.

I say this not just to TD, but to anyone who experiences this problem (not one I've seen before) to e-mail or PM me the complete e-mail you received from the board notifying you of the (non-existent) message.

Thank you. And I'm sorry for the inconvenience. As I say, I haven't heard of this happening before.

I checked TD's message and it wasn't what I thought it was. But I did some testing and have been able to re-create the identical situation, which may or may not explain the problem.

If someone PM's you, an e-mail is immediately sent, notifying you that a PM awaits you. The sender can then delete the message before you actually go and look at it.
