Chowin' Down at Splitz Grill on Main

Chowin' Down at Splitz Grill on Main

A few of us got together and enjoyed some burgers at Splitz Grill .. 27th & Main in Vancouver.

On the right hand side: Original CFUN Good Guy (and RW member) Brian Lord, his wife Feli and Russ Byth

Local author and historian Chuck Davis stopped by for a bite to eat and to give Brian a ciopy of his "Vancouver" book,
he had to be elsewhere so left us before the pic was taken.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

What a fine looking crew!
Great to see Brian and Feli again before they left for home.
It was a pleasure to meet Jerry and Chuck.
And....Always a honour to dine with radiofan and Mr. Byth!!

Seriously though, I wish Brian and Feli well as they head back to the Philippines just as a super-typhoon takes aim at the already storm-ravaged country.

The chance to meet Brian and his wife would have been great.....I have been a fan of his for some time...hope they are spared the wrath that has hit elsewhere lately. And the chance to see Jerry Landa after 36 years would have been wonderful too. Thanks to radiofan for emailing me and passing on such a nice piece......one thing I always enjoyed while at CJOR, arriving in the morning at 5.30 and taking over from Jerry. He had everything in order. A true pro. Nice to see the pic of the group too.
I can truly be such a softy at times.
