Happy Birthday Mr. Sykes. I understand, if she can muster up enough energy, the very matchstick-like Taylor Swift will help blow out your candles.

Happy Birthday John Sykes

I'll add my greetings to the list. Glad to see you hanging in there after some rough patches in recent years!

On a lighter note, I don't think you'll complain if a girl with little spindly legs jumps out of your birthday cake. Though your wife might....

Paging Twiggy. And, yes, I know she isn't so skinny anymore.

On a trivia note, I have seen "little spindly legs" on people who are overweight above the legs. Kind of like the short feet on some tall people. It happens.

You are all the greatest.....even Fart Crashly, or is that Fibb Krashley...can't remember.....yes I spout off at times...most times, I should shut my big mouth and carry on. But I know life would be dull if I don't get you going on something or another.
Radiowest is an outlet that will never be forgotten in my book.....I thank all sincerely for their wishes, but most of all Ted and Jon for all they have done to make all of this possible.

I will admit to all of you....I could never operate in broadcasting today the way things work now. Time, indeed, has passed me by.
I complain about certain voices...and in some cases, I believe, rightly so. But in general, I should sit back and realize, it's your world now, not mine.....do all you can do to make the broadcast industry as best as it can be, not just for me but for everyone else too.

Oh do I wish that CJOR had afforded me the opportunity that Dan Russell got later....Oh do I wish that Team-1040 had happened many years ago. Keep the candle burning, I'll be listening!

Cheers

John Sykes
