If I am able to attend, it will be a last minute decision.

Are non-committed drop ins OK?

Should be there as well, barring unforeseen circumstances.

I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you face to face for a change...without the avatars. Sandclan, just saw you on another page....now I know who you are.

I thought I did too until..... if Sandclan looks like George Gobel, then Radiofan looks like..... he's changed... now how will we recognize him at the GTG? :? :? :?

I'd love to schmooze with all of you too, but duty calls and I'm out of town on biz for a couple of weeks. Please take pics, especially if Kat shows up....mmmmmmm.

I'll be there.

But since I'm Unknown, you won't know it.

Since I let my fan know I was going to the GTG Sunday, I have been belted with the flu and don't feel as though I should contaminate those attending. So it is, once again, with heavy heart, that I must say no. I hope one and all have a blast.
I am very saddened to miss the gathering...I was looking forward to meeting everyone.

Best regards to all,

John S.

I guess you better start digging around in your basement for that Sykes cardboard cutout to bring on Sunday Radiofan.

If you've never been to one of our GTG's before and don't recognize any faces, we'll be the well behaved group
on the your left when you come into The Marine Pub main entrance.

The noon start time isn't firm . .some of us will be by 11:30 or a bit earlier.

I hope that everyone has a great time tomorrow!

The rain sounds like it will stop about the time the GTG starts, not that anyone is likely to notice inside the premises. Especially after a few drinks.

RadioWest November GTG Pics

Postby radiofan » Sun Nov 08, 2009 9:15 pm

John wasn't the only person suffering the flu today .. I had several emails this morning from people cancelling out because of the flu
and they didn't want to risk sharing it with the rest of us .. A few of the regulars were actually working today and then Mr. CFAY
arrived after we had left ... (he even discovered the Marine Pub has a Wi-Fi connection and he could have demonstrated his radios
for us ... we'll look forward to that next time 8-) . Here's some pics of those who attended (Thanks to Dan's better half, Linda)
