That Kelowna Courier blurb was written by the inimitable Charlie Patrick, for an advertising blurb launching CJOV-FM.
Charlie, a long tome salesman, had been promoted to FM Station Manager.
It was just him and me at that point!
At it's launch, the FM radio station was the audition side of the CKOV 630 board and the third turntable in the CKOV Control Room.
Luckily, AM still was running CBC and religious shows in that portion of the evening with a live show from 11pm to 1am.
Everything else on CJOV-FM was AM simulcast, all in mono of course.
