Probably not gone for good ( as much fanfare and fire would have preceded that move).

Where a web site address (technically, the "domain name" part of it, as in "radiowest.ca") takes you is dependent on which DNS (Domain Name Server) your Internet provider has connected you to. A DNS indicates what Name Server computer to connect a Domain Name to. Typically, the Name Server computer is located at the web hosting company where the Domain Name is buying its web hosting service.

There are thousands of DNS's in the world, and they each take their own sweet time updating their tables that tell them where to connect each Domain Name. In extreme cases, they can be 48 hours out of date.

In other words, when you type in a web site address (URL), your Internet provider talks to another computer to determine what web hosting company to route your request to. Since you and Slowhand are asking different computers where psr.com is, they get different results.

Informed sources tell the Slowhand News Desk that an unauthorized poll was created on the PSR FaceBook site. A vote by PSR members indicated a unanimous preference for the picture of the female student rather than the normal sniping and backbiting on the forum. The FaceBook page was immediately taken down by its owner.
