An Intern Returns Home to Grande Prairie

On behalf of newly appointed News Director, Sara Warr, I'm very pleased to announce we've found a new anchor/reporter to join our newsroom at 104.7 Free FM.

Jenny Oatway is returning to the place where it all started!

Jenny got the news bug here at her hometown station after spending two summers with us as a newsroom intern under the guidance of former News Director Sara Buchan.

Jenny left us to head to broadcasting school at NAIT in 2011 and after spending some time at B-94 in Rocky Mountain House she's coming home to Free FM!

Both Sara Warr and Jeff Henson are thrilled to have Jenny back on the news team and we couldn't be happier to have a local talent return home.

Jenny's first day in Grande Prairie will be Sept. 25th.
