Fort Mac is CRUZin'

Harvard's CHFT in Fort MacMurray relaunched as Variety Hits “100.5 Cruz-FM” at 10:00am (MST) today. The station is branding itself as “Fort Mac’s Greatest Hits” with a mix of music from the 70s,
80s and 90s. Under NewCap's ownership the station was Classic Rock "100.5 K-Rock". The airstaff will be unveiled on January 6.

Perfect for Fort Mac and the station sounds FANTASTIC.The area listeners are in for a real treat.

I also liked what I was hearing from the online stream. Some lesser played cancon from the 80's was interesting and welcome (didn't take long for Bryan Adams to appear though..that's just me..I never did get the appeal). The Howie Cogan "knock-off" on the bumpers was second rate and not the way I would've gone. Out of the gate, you wouldn't want to be imaged as just another "Jack".
