100.9 The Eagle is now A/C - Hot A/C

On a trip into Calgary today I was quite shocked to discover that 100.9 The Eagle in Okotoks is no longer playing Classic Hits. They appear to be aiming for a much younger demo, I didn't recognize one song they played in the time I listened.

Do they really have to be pumping out the same current/recent songs that how many other stations are already playing?

At least with the Classic Hits/Oldies, there was appeal to those over 25 that still listen to the radio.

You're about 20 years off the start age for the Classic Hits audience, the Eagle's new playlist would target more over 25 than under.
