1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme - It was a great news cruiser. NW seemed to keep a car about a year. As I remember it we went through a lot of different ones – I will try to remember the different types that I drove. They were all contra with expensive and eye catching paint jobs.
The times back then may look funny....but - o what a feeling.
George was doing 9-5, Harry would have his car at home working 7-3. Jack would park his car along with George at the Chevron just off Granville at Seymour or Richards close to the Joe’s strip club the Penthouse. I never went eating the area at Italian restaurants. The second car parked was needed by a night evening man or someone on assignment. When Garrett was taken on as Investigator he got his own car and got to cover fires at 3am in Surrey….”Joanne could you wake up George – or has he bolted out the door yet”
I have retained my earlier sleepy eyed post below
