Barker and Ash with facial hair are my personal favorites....although RF is "best in show"....what do those calls stand for COAK?

I think they were supposed to be CQAK .. C-QUACK .. which is actually quite funny. You may recall NW at that time had a mascot that never really quite caught on...The NW Duck. It was designed and made by the folks at Disney for $10,000.00 or more. It was hoped it would become as famous as the San Diego Chicken. Nver quite happened. A couple of Hyack Festival parades and the NW Duck was toast.

Can also spot Marlena Gayle and Mckit, maybe Barrie M. too? Mckit was such a character, I've told this story too many times....but
when I came there in 80 something, I cameout to play softball at Hume Park with the NW team, and hadn't gotten into the game yet..
Mckit made an error at first base, a fairly glaring one...comes off the field fuming like only he could, and says: Lee takeover at
first base, I said for a couple of innings...he said" no, PERMANENTLY" and guess what, I don't think he ever played again. (Maybe you
had to be there :drunken: )

Must have been some pretty tricky camera work and flying to get that closeup of Kathy Morse in the plane! ;)
