Some of the more tech-savvy of posters here may already be acquainted but, I was recently tipped by Wired magazine to this valuable site. Very helpful in getting you to the best tech support and customer service numbers for most companies without having to fight through "phone trees" or being automatically routed overseas.
Wired also tips that using web-chat rather than phone lines or email is the most efficient way to obtain quality support and service. The support reps who manage it typically have better training and usually work harder to help you.
If you really want to complain effectively about a company, do it on their Facebook page. They really hate that and are quick to respond. If your complaint is deleted - a common occurrence - pile it on and bitch about that too.
