Interesting concept, but the non-hyperlinked, fuzzy-looking corporate logos at the top add a vast degree of dubiousness.

I don't understand the page design... it would be more appropriate for selling SLR cameras because of the photo negative layout... to each his own etc. but surprising because of the google link.

Basicly every new website can be another google advertising site. The site owner can generate an income form links, and of course google would like to generate an income from the site owner too. The site however can ignore all things google if the site owner has other plans. The same type of offer exists on the main google site. A dot CA domain will cost you up to $50 for the first year, and declines if you renew it for a number of years.

Sites like Facebook and LinkedIn have eliminated the need for many to have a website.
