CTV Shuffles deck chairs

Postby Big Voice » Thu Nov 15, 2012 9:04 am

CTV B.C. has tossed G.M. Tom Haberstroh and News Director Margo Harper.

T.V.'s version of a losing team getting rid of the coach.

Hope they get much better people than those they tossed.
I worked with both and I wasn't impressed.
But it's Bhell so don't count on it.

From a distance - I think CTV does a pretty good job.

Attempts to be Global or trying to create the Global family we all know is a big challenge.

Think it is the Global wakeup to bedtime crew that keeps the province glued to the TV set

Just my humble thoughts from the warm breeze and palm trees in the Okanagan

Doing a pretty good job isn't good enough. Ratings have been in the basement since the Bill Good & Pamela Martin days. Must be frustrating.

Are you kidding me? If they've been in the basement since the dull duo left, they were certainly in the crawlspace when they were there!

The fly's industry sources have hinted that Global National editor/assignment guy Doug Sydora may be in line for a move to Vancouver from Burnaby.
