Conrad Black's new TV show

Postby bigbry » Wed Jan 30, 2013 9:47 am

Here's a link that explains what Zoomer Media has done http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/story/2 ... -show.html

IN MY OPINION...By giving Conrad Black his own TV show, Zoomer Media has created a new low for Canadian Broadcasting. Conrad Black was convicted of defrauding 6.1 million from investors and obstruction of justice. The obstruction of justice conviction usually means some one is lying and Zoomer Media is going to let Mr.Black open his mouth on air. Plus Zoomer is going to have to spend a fortune widening all doorways just so Conrad will beable to fit his ego through the door.
My wife and I get the Zoomer Magazine. It will not be renewed. In fact the remaining issues will be used to line the bottom of our bird cages, because that’s now where the words of Zoomer Media should be.
After hiring Black, what’s next for Zoomer Media, hire Robert Pickton?

Huge difference. Conrad Black may have defrauded investors, yet he still has knowledge of the industry. I'm sure if Robert Pickton would get a chance at the outside world one day, someone would hire him for a "How to kill hookers" talk show.

Personally, I'd watch both.

Six million. Let's cut the guy some slack. Today, that's not even real money.

If this runs on Vision tv, the positive is, it will add some class, the negative is, Black will have to work on the `send us your good will donation'

The question remains: Why was Lord Tubby of Bilgewater allowed to return to Canada?
He renounced his Canadian citizenship to obtain his "title."
He's a convicted criminal, which should prohibit his return to this country.
He's an arrogant elitist wealthy fraud artist.
Let him live in the UK, if indeed, even they want him back.
Two of a kind, Znaimer and Lord Tubby.

To be kind, he is a walking thesaurus of intellectual curiosity. Peter Mansbridge did a great interview with him.. don't know if it is online.
