On the day of a major bridge collapse in Minnesota, lots of amazing video, CTV Vancouver naturally leads with the story that will grab the attention of most people. Global BC leads with a cab driver who may have contracted TB from a fare in Victoria. Later Global goes to the catch-all quote machine Michael Levy, who says mortgages rates may be going up and the stock market may rally. (BTW - Global didn't run the bridge collapse until 630) Watch out Global, you're getting lazy, and we've seen what happened to a certain radio station that was known for its news coverage years ago, before IT got lazy! IMO, all CTV needs to do is come up with some younger, friendly anchors, and it might be able to give the perrenial TV news leader a run for its money.
