News from the world of Television

Wow! I've seen some ads where they were a day or two out, but a month!

Given that we are almost to those same days in October, you'd think they might have goofed and said September when they meant October. But, this is TV, not Radio, so they would have had to goof up the voice and the graphics -- much less likely.

Plus, they aren't mentioning it on their Web site, so this must have been a September event.

This is the kind of thing you hear about during strikes at the CBC, or the infamous "Work to Rule" that (used to?) lead to a strike.

And, I'm sure Rona will receive their bill for this airing from the CBC, and just blithely pay it, not ever knowing.

Any idea if it was aired nationally, or just locally in your market?

Sounds like those superior CBC union employees deserve another raise so that the quality of work will go up. I smell a strike looming...

That must have been an Alberta thing, the RONA spots I saw on CBC-BC were for their scratch and win sale this weekend.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
