This concert would have been a whole lot more fun than a postponed Eagles concert....

Thanks to Firedog for sharing these!
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

You've gotta love those old "jumble" newspaper ads that look as if they've been made from clip art, when it actually WAS paper clip art and pasted in a chaotic mess on a plain background.
It's great to see these old ads and newspaper clippings!

a note of disagreement and it may mean we are using words each of has our own meaning......

clipart to me is the type of material that used to be printed on glossy papered books that would
be cut out and pasted on to the the PMT. clipart is now found in computer files etc.

both the poster and the ad look like the work of a graphic artist - one in a newspaper of
that era and the other in an agency working with full colour and photographic processes to
reduce pix etc. The newspaper guy may not have a lot of time and the haphazard look probably works
with the intended market.

just a thought

Yes Jack, I was talking about the original clipart that you cut out and pasted.
Now, you just copy and paste it from the internet clipart pages.
These days, with all the technology involved, using clipart really dates someone who actually still uses the cutsie little icons on letters and other documents.
