Recent case of a radio station promoting a record

http://www.timescolonist.com/entertainment/Global+Gray+eminence/3003296/story.htmltells of the Victoria station “the Q” promoting a record.

And Red Robinson comments on his blog http://www.redrobinson.com about an old case:
< The Chessmen were one of the first Vancouver rock and roll bands to get a major U.S. label contract. That was so important in the days before CanCon rules and as program director of C-FUN I made sure their music got airplay and exposure for the band… no one from government ordered me to do it!>
