I saw some drawings a number of years ago that were radio related. I found them recently and was able to send them to radiofan as JPEG cel phone camera images.
one of the drawings was of a fellow sitting at the table with an old radio hooked up to an antenna that ran several times arownd a cloths tree, He looked baggy eyed as he DXed this image had two captions 1) "The Dxer's lonely vigil" and 2) "Lets hear it for DXing"
The other drawing was of an old gent standing beside a ribbon type mice holding a very large triangle. The caption on this image was "At the tone the time will be..." This image I recall was from a brochure i received from The National Institute Of Standards explaining about WWV, WWVH and WWVB. The mic flash was "WWV".
As a result of finding these images, I decided to do an online search to see what I might come up with. The result are the following links.
