A trip to Vancouver, B.C., often includes visits to the same old tourist-trail suspects. But there is a clutch of rewarding, lesser-known attractions just a short drive away in the Lower Mainland region.

For those looking for something new next time they come to town, here's a six-pack of off-the-beaten-path but eminently visit-worthy attractions.

Canadian Museum of Flight -- Hangar 3, 5333 216th St., Langley. Open daily, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission: $4.75 (U.S.), $3.80 for seniors and students, free for under 6. 604-532-0035; canadianflight.org
