And how many people on the board are actually on-air and can take advantage of this? Seems to be mostly use-ta-bes and wanted-to-bes. Nothing personal.

Speaking of use-ta.... no I won't go there. John's a gentleman. Can't say anything bad about him. I wannabe!

Mr. Dog sir,
I'd like to thank you for those great photos, and memorabilia. That shot of Bill Hughes and the late Frank Sr. reminds me of a guy I knew who worked at NW in the Roving Mike days. He claims that there was many a time when the board operator had to check with the writers in the copy department to find out what "number" Roving Mike it was, as the intro page to the program was blank, and that many times they just pulled a number out of the air. So, the 500 thousandth edition of the Roving Mike may well have been the 200 thousandth, or the 1 millionth edition....who knew. Don't know if that story is true, but there are a million stories in the naked city, and that just might be one of them..

Pretty big talk for a newbie around here. Go back to playing with your bows and arrows... you need some practise.

There we go again.... seems yee-haw's only here to direct the thread in a different direction without anyone picking up on it for a while. I'm on to you!

Mr. Byth, because you are much senior to me, may I point out that the thread was heading in this direction thanks to howaboutthat's reference to use-ta-bes....you fit right in.
