Long-time DJ Scruff Connors has passed away today at age 64. His Western Canada stints included The Bear in Edmonton (1992) and Power 97 in Winnipeg (1994-95).

His son TJ works in Kamloops radio.

Mr. Connors had been ill for a while.
He passes far too young. He was a superb talent - and us Toronto Radio alumni, all admired him, immensely.
RIP. Thanks for the sense of the 'absurd' and fun.
Today - I join a lot of people in feeling the loss.
