I'm not sure I believe the motivation behind the bit. Although he may believe what he's saying, I have no doubt it was more about being edgy and creating some buzz.
But so what? I lived in Saskatoon for the first 22 years of my life, and I can't remember one time a radio station did anything newsworthy.
