Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

I suspect the Rogers building is a happy place today. CKWX, FUN-FM and Jack all posting really healthy numbers.

Will Corus shut down AM 730 as they did with the two Montreal ams?
I doubt it makes enough money to pay the transmitter power bill.

CFUN proves v/t killed the jock. B O R I N G. It's hard to be really boring, but this station is so Vanilla that the Vanilla Association has asked that they be blacklisted.

Think Rock 101 is due for a cleanup and so is FOX and I fear that 730 is a goner, too.

730 has people that I am sure are great to hang with, but shouldn't be on a major market station, for a while yet.

I wonder when CTVglobemedia will finally shut down its second AM frequency for its sports station. If those ratings go any lower, a 0.0 is not only within the realm of possibility, it's likely. They really should do a final six month transition simulcasting on both frequencies getting the last stragglers to switch then kill the second frequency. It'll open up a good AM frequency for some community radio station, perhaps.

Cheers,
Doug
