Anyone have a theory as to why CBU-AM could increase by 3.2 in just a month?

Didn't CBU experience a hefty drop in one period when PPM was first introduced? Maybe it's catchup time.

Looks like it's about time to put CFMI on life support. And how does CFUN keep losing listeners with what should be
a winning format? Just check Calgary and Edmonton. (Oh excuse me, XL and Capital aren't run by Rogers.)

Yeah, I keep saying Newcap is awesome at doing radio.

So, why is CJJR not at the top? I personally feel that J-P does a great job with the format, way better than Corus's attempts at least (yet CISN is always 9-11 in Edmonton, and CKRY is 8-9 in Calgary). Maybe station rating is proportional to the promotions and things they give away or something.

CFUN has been handled like a grenade - what is wrong with these people? Their bus boards and ads are really poor.
CFMI is the worry for CORUS - Jake and the lads have lost their allure.

Honestly - any station light you up?

WX ratings increase because they have taken all of NW's talent.

Yes but NW isn't going down.

I'd imagine that CBC's numbers are a PPM Gremlin. Either their drop or this crazy gain. You'd need more books to average that out.

I'd also imagine that Rock 101 is niche driven and likely crushes its core demo or is competitive with males of a certain age.

I don't get CFUN personally. My heart tells me it should be a savage ratings monster. But just isn't gaining traction. Once again, 12+... who knows what and how the breakdowns are being interpreted at head office.

I'm a Pattison homer so I like the Peak continues to climb and is a striker to start passing some heritage FMs soon. nice.

CBC is likely a blip. A couple PPMs in a retired couple's home with a radio playing it 24/7 can do that. The CUME was steady.

Awesome to see The Peak climbing. It's all money demo too, and a demo that is more likely to explore new technologies than other stations' audiences, so all the more impressive. Great job Gord, James, and Tamara. (and everyone else).

Rogers needs to better separate JACK and CFUN. CFUN needs more 60s. The CUME to TSL ratio suggests to me that it's nothing more than a P2 for Jack listeners. Loosen the playlist a tad, and hire some pros!

I sure wish I could post some real numbers...like 25-54 and Time Spent Listening, and specific dayparts. The story becomes so much clearer.

someone did post some Rock 101 breakdowns in another thread... so I do stand corrected about Rock 101. Maybe its time to freshen up.
