As predicted, Easy Rock Edmonton (CFMG-FM) took a huge (1.2) hit now that All Christmas Music is finally flushed out of the ratings numbers. But there is still room for rejoicing at Astral, as they are up 0.9 from the last non-Christmas period (the yellow column).
Capital-FM (CKRA-FM) is back in the pink, not that most stations wouldn't have given their eye teeth for last month's 8.3, but a 8.8 and #3 spot is pretty amazing.

So, what would that mean? Dropping the license as happened in Montreal?
If so, I wonder if 880 wouldn't be a better frequency for CFCW than their proposed (and CRTC-approved) home of 840. What I'm not sure of is how much impact Lexington, Nebraska (KRVN-880) has on CHQT's night signal in places like Lloydminster and most of Northern Alberta. But Las Vegas on 840 has an approved night pattern that points right at Edmonton, which could be a real problem for CFCW if the Vegas folks ever find enough money to get their transmitter fixed.
Update: oops, forgot about CKLQ-880 Brandon. A fair chunk of their 10KW goes towards Edmonton.
