CKNW F-BOMB

CKNW F-BOMB

Postby radiofan » Wed Oct 14, 2009 4:19 pm

At about 9:26 this morning a caller dropped an F-Bomb on Bill Good as he was headed to a commercial break.

It appears the board-op didn't close the pot for the telephone line, didn't kill the phone line when Bill was done with the caller,
and either didn't have the show in delay or doesn't know how to activate the "Dump" button.

Oooops!
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Do a recovery by saying the french accented caller was referencing a seal that is out for a swim in English Bay :)

The verbal expression of the four letter `f' word, but not spelled the same en francais, is a seal. Pheque is what I believe on how it is spelled.

At CBC Radio Two, they'd just take it as a request, play something by Austrian composer Robert Fuchs, and move along.

By the way, thanks for the segue, How.
