From a 1984 CKXL aircheck I [radiofan] found this "You Are The Reason" jingle .. not sure what others there was in the package, but here's a 60 seconder ...

I don't recall XL Radio using any other jingles in '84. This one is from a Fairwest package that Seattle's KLSY also used. XL didn't have much in the way of jingles, it seems, from '82 until '85.
Faster cars, younger women, older cheese, more money . . .
