CKCL (Clear FM) became Greatest Hits 104.9 on September 26th.

The fall BBM ran September 1 thru October 26.

That's key, because we wondered who the 12 and 80 year olds
were listening to. I know it's not without its merit, but it does
look a lot different when you break down the demographics, I can't
help but feel there are some repeat polls in there. Is NW number
1 everlasting, no matter what they serve up? Can CBC really have
those legions of listeners? The rest makes sense to me though.
Bring on the PPM's, if it shows this all to have been a true representation
over the years, then I'll be the first to admit it.

The all-traffic station has its lowest cume in a year.... do I hear Jingle Bells? Did a couple of 'NW employees get books? ;)

Good for Crave. and WX - my comments based on S4 score and a comparison.

Could the drop by 'Beat' be due to CHUM taking over and the young audience noticing that their fave station is now a corporate windbag?

Nope.
Re-check the BBM site.
Somehow the numbers for the Beat and Jack were transposed.
The Beat has the higher share.

Doesn't look like they were transposed... Beat is still lower.

Jack's (CKLG-FM,, not Top Dog) numbers have been corrected. The Beat's 7.0 is correct .. It is down 1.3 from last fall.

Vancouver : A great book for CKNW which remains #1 for A12+ with a 12.4% share of hours tuned (up from10.8%). The Beat 94.5 took a hit with a 7.0% share for A12+ (down from 9.8%). CBC One and Two both bounced back nicely with 9.9% and 5.3% shares respectively. 103.5QM-FM is backing the top spot for F25-54 with a 12.9% share (up from 9.9) QM-FM. ROCK101 posted some nice gains, claiming top spot with M25-54, delivering a 12.6% (up from 10.3%).

Uh that's kind of having it both ways, referring to the 12 plus numbers
for NW, but jumping to the m25-54 for ROCK 101, isn't it?

Look down in the article for the Vancouver graph in the article LP

Interesting way to look at things I would agree.

Glad to see no one is arguing about 12+ etc as the standard
