Changes in Seattle

Postby Dan Sys » Mon Nov 01, 2010 8:26 pm

Fisher's KVI 570 Seattle will be dumping it's unsuccessful Conservative Talk format on Monday November 8th and return to Oldies. There had been earlier rumours floating around that had them going Spanish, but the official Oldies announcement came down today:

Some former Seattle radio heavyweights will be making up the on air staff in January.

It is also reported that KFNK 104.9 the Funky Monkey will be rebranded as Gen X Radio shortly:

KVI was a great Oldies station back in the 1980's. They've got a decent jock lineup. With no 600 slop, they should be fairly listenable in Vancouver.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
