Did you pull this from the Calgary Sun ?

This is their typical sensational speed on headlines etc.

Guns don't kill babies, babies kill babies; but first they gurgle, drool, and poop their pants.
(in my day, that was show prep, or a jock meeting. I can't remember which)

The best headlines, when I was working at CKXL, where we were required to come up with same to lead each newscast, were: Nut bolts and screws and Small medium at large.

My take of the headline which was in a Vancouver canwest paper is this

"Baby threatened at gunpoint in home invasion"

If a gurlging puke spewing baby is in a hamper crying for its mother - how does a gunman threatened that individual...

I can see the gunman threatening the adults but not the baby and therefor the headline sucks -

I love Cleaver's - Nut bolts and screws!

Neither of those headlines actually made it to air.
The first was inspired by a man breaking out of an Alberta mental institution and sexually attacking a woman.
The second was when a self proclaimed psychic who also happened to be a "little person" also broke out of jail.

How about "A man's under arrest after a woman was stabbed 57 times. Talk about overkill!"

That DID make it to air.
