Dumb Question of the Day

Dumb Question of the Day

Postby Jack Bennest » Thu Sep 18, 2008 9:10 am

High-school students who are selling junk food out of their lockers to classmates who can no longer get it from the banned vending machines.

We're curious to know how much of this is going on. If you're a student and 'black-market' junk food is readily available at your school, please let us know by e-mailing or commenting below.

Biff - what is happening at your school?

This could be a pre cursor to a new feature (ala NW) - dumb question of the day

TD - there's just as much junk-food garbage on the floor of the yellow n black mobile youth music testing facility as there was last year

Well, at my school we would have attributed most of that post to cbc.ca.

But a much better effort T-Dogg

Actually most of it was stolen from the Province who stole it from the CBC
who stole it from me and if you believe all that I have Galveston land for sale.

Just think Biff might have something original to say on his own soon - now that he is back to school.

If I was still in school, I'd have a whole row of lockers...filled with 2 for $1 chocolate bars from the Dollar Store...that I'd resell for a buck each.

I'd get an old Coke cooler and fill it with The Real Thing...also at an inflated price.

And... I'd have peanuts for sale too.

Bring back the goold ole days!

On the little rock I live on, school cafeteria receipts are down and corner store revenue is up. A few school district staff members have commented that there are now MORE students heading into the village center than the previous average.

Ok trivia buffs...I'm trying to remember the one-hit artist who sang "Junk Food Junkie" the silly song about a politically correct organic, vegan food consumer in public and a closet Twinkies freak in private! :?: :?: :?:
