Jon....any idea on how to copy/paste photos from Google Street View and save them in a file? I just can't figure out how to do it.

Easy to use and can save in a multitude of file types. If you can see it on a screen, you can Snagit. Tell them necessity sent you. No postage required.

If you have Windows 7 or Vista, the Snipping Tool is the way to go, to capture anything on the screen. Start-All Programs-Accessories.

All releases of Windows, back to at least Windows 3.1, included Print Screen support. Hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard, and paste the image into any graphics editor.

In fact, Shift+Print Screen captures the entire screen. Alt+Print Screen just captures the current window. I cannot remember, nor easily find info on,Alt+Print Screen, but I believe it just captures the visible portion of the current window.

In short, I've never found the need for a screen capture tool other than what was built into Windows. Snipping Tool is really great because it allows you to crop as you are capturing.

But for those of us who have only just upgraded to Dos 6.22 ... or still have XP, then Snagit is a charm.

Thanks for all the advice gentlemen. Radio towers? I was thinking more along the lines of a visual library of my favourite watering holes.

It would be interesting to check out the parking lots and see how many different establishments you were visiting when the Google team drove by with their cameras.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

From what I've read here, it sounds like everyday is St. Patrick's Day wherever Dan is.

I'll stick with my Timmies thank you.

Interesting true fact; in Ireland no one, never, ever colors beer, stew, or any other edible or drinkable "green" on St Patrick's Day.
The very concept is just plain weird to them.

Well, there is cabbage and corned beef but the cabbage doesn't exactly look green any more. :sad3:
