Seattle Ratings kinda scary

People sometimes compare Vancouver to Seattle but the taste of their respective citizens is obviously quite different. Seattlites have a country station at the top of their ratings list. While we are listening to the CBC or NW they are bopping to jesus pop or a second country station. Only one newstalk station manages to crack the top ten in the Emerald city and there's only one all sports station in the normally sports crazy Excited States. Unfortunately both markets share an interest in really bad music by putting a soft AC station near the top of the ratings.

Seattle never was Vancouver.
That is a BLUE Collar city - Boeing et al. - while Vancouver is a lot more eclectic.

KMPS is a well delivered and rather blacn conglomerate.

Vancouver listeners like CBC Jazz more than most suspect - and Ipod has me listening to my 99 cent downloads.
